In memory of Alexey Lvovich Shilov (1.07.51-8.11.09)

On November 8, 2009 at the age of nearly 58 after a short illness Alexey Lvovich Shilov died. He was Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Senior Researcher at the N.S. Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry (IGIC) of the Russian Academy of Sciences, one of the greatest scientists in the field of physical chemistry of transition-metal hydrides and inter-metallic compounds.
