The 2012 Asian Biohydrogen and Bioproducts Symposium 2012 ABBS: Preface

摘要

The 2012 ABBS was held in Chongqing University, China, during 9-12 November, 2012. The event was organized by Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, School of Power Engineering, Chongqing University, China; Key Laboratory of Low-grade Energy Utilization Technologies and Systems (Chongqing University), Ministry of Education, China; Asia Bio-HyLinks; and International Association for Hydrogen Energy. The symposium provided an ideal platform for specialists and related practitioners to share and discuss current and topical issue of common concern in biohydrogen production and related renewable bio-energy technologies. The theme of this symposium was biological hydrogen production systems and microbial fuel cell technology which are becoming enabling technological platform for green industry, low carbon economy, and environment-benign society. The 2012 ABBS was sponsored by National Science Foundation of China and Chongqing Science & Technology Commission; and co-sponsored by Chongqing Gient Heating Industry Co., Ltd., China.
