Human trafficking today has become one of the key issues in international relations. Along with resource scarcity, the changing question of national sovereignty and immigration, human trafficking is a direct effect of globalisation. Green Economics deals directly with the social and environmental damage created by economic injustices, and human trafficking presents a poignant example of this living tragedy.
