Electromagnetic Radiation Effect Due to Cell Phone and Its Impact on Human Body

By using the mobile phone then some public concern has been generated regarding the exposure to the microwave radiation. Due to the use of mobile phone possible biological effects arises which can be regard as a result of energy absorbed by the head that may damage the brain and other tissues. This paper discusses the possible health effects due to mobile phone and present a theoretical method to find out the specific absorption rate (SAR) in human head which is exposed to the microwave of frequency used in GSM-900 and GSM-1800 cell phones. A mobile phone which is an electromagnetic field source is to be located near the head is assumed and a model of four layers is to be constructed for calculating the penetration depth in human head to examine the SAR and temperature rise in head tissues.
