摘要

The focus of this workshop is the examination of the transnational dimension involving the global protests from Arab Springs to European Indignados and Occupy Wall Street. In particular, the comparative approach of the transnational mechanisms and processes at work in the aforementioned protests will shed light on more general aspects such as symbolisms and practices of democracy as well as on communication and mediation processes.
