Editorial

摘要

We are at an interesting stage in higher education in the evolution of what we refer to as 'educational technology'. In general, we now tend to assume that educational technology is associated with the use of state-of-the-art computer and communications equipment. This special issue of UEEE presents a series of papers reporting developments in learning based on the use of information and communications technology (ICT). In particular, we have selected some papers that relate directly to the electrical engineering discipline areas, but some of the papers are of a more general nature and will be of interest to a wider audience.
