The accompanying text for each tree species not only provides its Latin name and distribution within Mumbai or information on its identifying characteristics of general and scientific interest, but the descriptions are loaded, often in a literary language, with valuable information on their historical, social, cultural, religious and literary importance as well. Those who want to know more about Seeta's Solace, Heart Patient's Reigning Deity, African Sausage Tree, Urvashi, Sundari, Ghost Tree, Golden Carpetmaker and many other such trees, should procure a copy of this wonderful book.
