L'opium et ses conséquences, des plaines d'Afghanistan aux banlieues Françaises

Back from a training mission for the Afghan Police about the underground economy at the end of 2012, the author worked on an Anglo-Dari publication dedicated to the devastating effects of heroin and opium in Badakhshan, north-east Afghanistan entitled «Sada e Azadi». The author added research elements to the article he translated and also added interviews of policemen on the spot. It appears that the perception of the fight against opium traffic is radically different in each of these different geographical spaces which are Central Asia and Western Europe.%De retour d'une mission de formation au profit de policiers afghans sur le thème de l'économie souterraine, à la fin de l'année 2012, l'auteur a rapporté une publication intitulée «Sada e Azadi» (1), rédigée en anglo-dari (2), dans laquelle un article est consacré aux ravages du trafic d'héroïne et d'opium dans la région du Badakhshan, dans le nord-est de l'Afghanistan. Après avoir traduit ce texte, l'auteur l'a complété par quelques éléments de recherches. Il en ressort que le problème de l'opium est loin d'être perçu et abordé de la même façon, de part et d'autre des deux sphères géographiques, que constituent l'Asie centrale et l'Europe occidentale.
