摘要

To overcome the deficiency of existing cluster routing methods in wireless sensor networks (WSNs), this paper proposes a clustering hierarchy based on cellular topology (CHCT) for WSNs, in which the remaining energy and position of sensor nodes are simultaneously considered during the cluster structure construction, and the desired cluster structure is generated even in the case ot nodes without locating device. The formed cellular cluster structure can balance the energy consumption, optimize Ihe coverage area of dusters, and improve the operation efficiency. The experimental results show that CHCT can perform with higher efficiency in large-stale network deployment by comparison with the existing hierarchy.
