摘要

Regression testing is one of the most important and expensive activities in software development life cycle. The definition of regression testing is, if any changes made to already tested program it should not affect to other part of the software. The major objective of regression testing is to validate modified software to gain confidence that changed parts of software behave as usual and it ensure that unchanged part of program have not been negatively affected. During the regression testing a set of test case and existing test case are reused. But the regression testing is time and cost consuming process. To overcome this problem various approach are proposed by researchers such as regression test selection, test suite minimization and test case prioritization. In this paper, we review several regression test case selection techniques for Object-Oriented programming. Regression test selection technique can be code based and model based approach. This paper is analysis of regression test selection technique of code based, model based and hybrid approach.
