摘要

A wireless body area network (WBAN) has been widely used for medical and non-medical applications. Radio frequency radiation and temperature rise in the human body have been investigated to have the knowledge of adverse long-term bioeffect. The interaction of thermal and non-thermal bioeffect both near field and far field is in relation to specific absorption rate. Therefore, bioeffect-aware protocols are necessarily required. This survey presents the review and comparison of bioeffect-aware routing protocols developed so far for WBANs.
