RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FACEBOOK CAMPAIGNING AND SUCCESS OF WOMEN IN THE GENERAL ELECTIONHELD FOR THE LOWER HOUSE OF AFGHANISTAN PARLIAMENT IN 2018

摘要

This study focuses on answering the question "Is there any relationship between Facebook Campaigning and women successes in wining votes for securing seats in Afghanistan 2018 Parliamentary Election?" And to test the hypothesis, 'More Posts by or on the Behalf of female candidates on Facebook,motivated more people to vote in favor of those women, who have won the election, becoming the members of Afghanistan Parliament in the future.' This study aimed to find out whether there is any relationship between Facebook campaigning and the votes female candidates won in 2018 Parliamentary Electionof Afghanistan. This study is guided by interactivity as a process - related variable, focusing on the way in which, participants share information to one another. And, the findings of this study demonstrate thatPost, Share, and View variables have a strong relationship with the number of Vote variable, while the variable 'Like' declares a medium and the variable 'Comment', demonstrates a low correlation with the variable of Vote in this study.
