On April 3, 2013 Jozef Boleslaw Wojnarowski, an outstanding mechanics, mechatronics and biomechanics scientist, honorary member of the Polish Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, titular member of the Academie Europeenne des Sciences, des Arts et des Letters, President of the Polish Committee of Machines and Mechanisms Theory, member of the International Federation of the Theory of Machines and Mechanisms (IFToMM), member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Applied Mechanics and Engineering, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor, turned 80.
