This book fills an important gap in the renewables literature. Proponents of renewable energy often seem to paint the operators and regulators of the electricity distribution network as the "Bad Guys" thwarting the arrival of a golden age. The authors set out to explain the issues faced by the electricity distributor in a more balanced way. By the end of this excellent text the reader has a much wider view of the whole system problem. Nothing is insurmountable, but issues of distribution cannot be ignored.
