In this special issue, we present selected papers presented at the Eight International Conference on Advances in Mobile Computing and Multimedia (MoMM'2010), held in Paris, France, from the 8th to the 10th of November 2010. The conference was held in co-location with the 12lh International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications and Services (iiWAS'2010).
