Canadian exploration and production companies are cheerful about the future of their industry, despite commodity prices and their ability to access capital, according to an industry survey.rnThe study, 2009 Canadian Energy Survey, conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers and June Warren-Nickle's Energy Group, said that while Canadian producers responded to the price and economic volatility of 2008 by cutting their capital expenditure plans for 2009 by anywhere from 25% to 35%, most respondents expect overall economic conditions and commodity prices to improve within the next three years.
