Myanmar gas gets to Guangxi

Myanmar's natural gas reached Guangxi province in southwest China October 20. The transmission network enters China in Ruili, in neighboring Yunnan province, west of Guangxi. CNPC has begun commercial operations at the Guigang spur of the Guangxi pipeline network. The spur starts in Lufeng county in Yunnan. The start-up of the Guigang section was delayed from an earlier target of September.
