NDRC approves Sinopec pipeline

China’s National Development and Reform Commission hasrnapproved Sinopec’s plans to build a 30 Bcm/year gasrnpipeline from the Xinjiang autonomous region tornGuangdong province, the company said on its website.rnThe pipeline will initially deliver synthetic gas from coalto-rngas projects in Xinjiang. But the gas delivered by thernpipeline could also in future include conventional gas fromrnSinopec’s northwestern projects, as well as coalbedrnmethane and shale gas.
