While Shell grabbed the headlines in the Swiss franc market in a SFr2.3bn week, with its SFrl.325bn dual-tranche offering accounting for more than half the volume (see box story), the domestic arena was by no means bereft of supply. Kraftwerke linth-limmern Sold SFr160m of six-year paper through joint leads UBS, BNP Paribas and ZKB. Basler Kantoncdbank acted as co-manager. The size was gradually increased as demand grew, from an initial SFrl25m minimum, through SFr150m and on to the final SFr160m. The spread remained constant at 73bp over mid-swaps, the paper pricing at 100.088 on a 0.50% coupon for a final yield of 0.485%.
