摘要

Sponsor-backed credit bureau transunion and glaucoma specialist glaukos led the busiest week for US IPO pricings this year, but investors remained highly selective in choosing which deals to support. Of 13 IPOs due to be priced last week, two failed to get away, though the 11 that did debut were enough to surpass the 10 deals priced in the final week of January. Nonetheless, paltry deal sizes mean proceeds were little more than US$1.9bn. The Independence Day holiday will provide a brief respite - only four deals are scheduled to be priced this week - but bankers expect deal flow to pick up again after the break, ahead of the summer slowdown. This year has seen 83 IPOs, with both the number of deals and proceeds raised down more than 30% versus this time last year.
