CommonBond rolls out debut

Commonbond pulled the trigger on Wednesday on its inaugural student loan securitisation, a US$96.4m deal that has been in the works for months. IFR reported in April that the roughly two-year-old start-up had tapped Morgan Stanley to bring its first deal to market by mid-year, and agencies assigned ratings last week. The deal, a single-tranche trade of 4.04 years, is expected to price this week.
