The republic ofaustria could come to market with a new syndicated Eurobond possibly as early as this week, bankers say, though this depends on some stability returning to the eurozone government bond market. The sovereign, Aaa/AA+/AA+, is expected to consider issuing a new 10-year ahead of an imminent July maturity, three bankers said, though they denied knowledge of any specific plans by the country. "Austria has been the noticeable absentee from markets this year, and they have an upcoming maturity. I would say they are a prime candidate for issuance, maybe for next week," said one banker covering public sector debt last week. The maturing bond, a 3.5% July 15 2015 note, has €13.12bn outstanding, according to Eikon data.
