Recticel, which makes polyurethane foam products, reported take-up of 86.1% for its €75.95m rights issue. Around half of the proceeds will be used to reduce debt incurred last year when the company paid €40m to the European Commission to settle two cartel investigations. Shareholders subscribed for 20.43m shares of 23.73m offered at €3.20, on a 4-for-5 basis. The remaining unsubscribed rights were placed with institutional investors, including largest shareholder and underwriter Compagnie du Bois Sauvage. The holding of Bois Sauvage is increased to 28.71% as a result of its subscription for shares in proportion to its 15.95% shareholding, and its participation in the rump placing.
