The republic of Armenia has mandated Deutsche Bank, HSBC and JP Morgan to arrange investor meetings for a US dollar-denominated bond, while also announcing a tender offer to buy back up to US$200m of its outstanding US$700m bonds due September 2020. The sovereign is offering investors an attractive premium -Armenia is offering to purchase the 2020 bonds at par plus accrued interest. The notes have been trading at a cash price of 98.00 on the offer side over the past month, according to Tradeweb, suggesting a two-point pick-up excluding accrued interest.
