The stars are aligned for new Italian sovereign paper, market sources say, as the country considers launching a 15-year bond possibly as early as next week. "The market is red hot for peripheral paper at the moment, plus Italy's auction was very strong yesterday, so next week would be the perfect timing," a banker said, adding that the QE effect has increased investors' demand for yield and duration, creating very favourable conditions for long-dated peripheral paper.
