European bank chiefs got an easy ride at a question and answers session at the WEF meeting in Davos last week. A panel that included Anshu Jain, Douglas Flint and Brian Moynihan set aside competitive differences to agree on practically everything in an extremely civilised debate on regulation and liquidity. And when it came to the Q&A, the first question from the audience came from none other than John Studzinski. Last year, Studz took part in a similar forum as global head of advisory at Blackstone. But after relinquishing that role in November when Blackstone struck a deal to spin off its M&A business, Studz has been less involved in the front line of banking.
