New york life Global Funding I, backed by a funding agreement from New York Life Insurance Co, rated Aaa/AA+/AAA, mandated Credit Suisse and UBS for a minimum SFrl50m seven-year deal due February 2 2022. Books opened at the mid-swaps plus 20bp area, before massive demand allowed the issue not only to be upsized to SFr500m but also to price 2bp tighter, at mid-swaps plus 18bp. This was equivalent to Swiss governments plus 32bp, or a 0.262% yield, the paper pricing at 100.779 with a 0.375% coupon. NY Life's was the first FATCA-compliant deal of 2015, following AT&T in December and MetLife in September 2014.
