Zodiac pool solutions is lining up a US$800m loan to back its secondary buyout. The swimming pool and accessories company's deal includes a US$500m first-lien term loan, a US$170m second-lien term loan and a US$130m asset-backed lending facility. The first-lien loan will mature in seven years and have six months of soft call protection at 101. The second-lien loan matures in eight years and has hard call protection of 102/101. Rhone announced on October 25 that it agreed to buy Zodiac from The Carlyle Group. Zodiac's global headquarters is in Paris, but the company's operations are based in Vista, California.
