Pakistan rolls out ECM reforms

Pakistan is taking steps to improve thin equity capital markets as the government and more private companies see the potential to raise funds in one of Asia's best-performing markets. The Rs19.3bn (US$184m) block in Engro Fertilizers remains the largest ECM transaction of the year, while Hi Tech Lubricants' US$18m float is the biggest IPO.
