Norinchukin Bank is expected to buy into at least two forthcoming euro CLO deals, signalling that a broader market rebound and a hunt for yield might have persuaded the Japanese lender to overcome Brexit jitters that just weeks earlier prompted it to push back its planned return to the European market. The Japanese cooperative bank was poised to buy a significant chunk of the senior bonds in a €454.2m Cordatus Loan Fund Ⅶ CLO from cvc credit partners, sources said, in what would have marked Norinchukin's first European CLO investment since the global financial crisis.
