It took until the evening for pricing to come on CENTRICA's 7% intra-day capital increase last Thursday, with the result a whopping 13.5% discount. Typically those numbers would be the other way around. Having announced the deal before the market open, the shares opened down more than 5% at 218p and continued to fall, finishing down 9.779% at 208.5p, but had been nearly 13% lower during the day. Pricing came after 5.30pm in London for the £700m deal, comprising 350m primary shares at 200p.
