BNP Paribas and FTSE offer 'green transition' exposure

Bnp paribas has partnered with ftse russell to offer swaps and structured products on a new "green transition" index that progressively increases weightings towards companies shifting towards greener revenue mixes. The FTSE Divest-Invest Developed 200 index, which went live last week, uses data from FTSE Russell's Low Carbon Economy model to capture changes in the revenue mix of companies. The index enables investors to assess the green credentials of companies as business models shift towards goods, products and services that mitigate the impacts of climate change, resource depletion and environmental erosion.
