The UK DMO has set the coupon for its forthcoming November 2065 syndicated index-linked Gilt at 0.125%. Pricing is expected this week, more likely than not on Tuesday, if the DMO follows its usual pattern. Barclays, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs and RBS are the lead managers. Priot to that, the DMO sold £2.75bn of a new 10-year Gilt via auction last Wednesday, the 1.50% July 2026. The bid-to-cover ratio was 1.52:1, which compared favourably with the 1.49 seen at the last 10-year Gilt auction in November. The average price of 99.14 was a couple of ticks above the offer side of the market.
