The destruction of property after Hurricane Harvey created an immediate need for rental housing inventory along the Texas Gulf Coast. Houston-based apartment REIT camden property trust, which raised US$445m in equity from an all-primary block trade last week, was uniquely placed to help displaced residents find new housing.
