S&P's decision to award Indonesia investment-grade status will trigger a wave of inflows into South-East Asia's largest economy and should improve the standing of its borrowers in international markets, bankers and analysts said. S&P lifted Indonesia's long-term sovereign rating to BBB-, from BB+ this month, with a stable outlook. The agency cited the country's improved fiscal situation following a series of reforms to cut the deficit as the reason for the upgrade.
