Fear of missing out impacts Alfa debut

Shares in London's largest public offering so far this year soared on Friday as investors scrambled to buy shares in the open market after extraordinary demand meant many subscribers to the IPO went away empty handed. Co-founder and executive chairman Andrew Page and CEO Andrew Denton sold 78m shares in ALFA FINANCIAL SOFTWARE at 325p per share, which was at the top of the 270p-325p price range, to value the company at £975m.
