Barclays picks top team for capital markets

Barclays has appointed Jill Schwartz as global head of leveraged finance as part of a series of changes in its capital markets business. The moves follow a number of changes to the leadership across the investment bank last week, which included the appointment of Joe McGrath as global head of banking and Jean-Francois Astier as head of global capital markets. Astier had led leveraged finance since October 2012.
