Hong kong exchanges and clearing last week launched its first currency options, rolling out more renminbi-related derivative products in a bid to cement Hong Kong's status as the main offshore renminbi trading hub. The US dollar-offshore renminbi (USD/ CNH) options began trading on March 20 and complement other products already offered by the exchange including USD/CNH futures and other renminbi currency futures.
