Kuwait's dual-tranche US$8bn debut transaction marked the biggest emerging market sovereign trade of the year, with orders peaking at around US$29bn from 778 orders. By geography type, Europe took 46% of the allocation on the US$3.5bn five-year tranche, the Middle East and North Africa took 26%, the Americas 24% and Asia 4%.
