State energy company socar plans to complete its buyback of its outstanding Eurobonds worth US$97m before February 18, Reuters reported company vice-president Suleyman Gasymov saying. Socar issued its debut five-year Eurobonds worth US$500m in 2012. Gasymov said the company had started to buy back its Eurobonds at the end of 2016. "We have already bought back our Eurobonds worth US$403m and preparations for a purchase of the remaining USS97m is under way," Gasymov told reporters. He said that Socar was not planning any new issues this year. Socar issued Eurobonds worth US$1.75bn in 2012-15.
