It was tough going right to the end, but Ferrovial last week finally completed the massive £13.3bn refinancing of its seven UK airport assets, which are operated by BAA. Closing came not a moment too soon, as the UK's Competition Commission ruled just two days later that BAA should sell two of its three London airports.
