Bank Australia taps Sustainable demand

The Australian market for socially responsible investments moved up a gear last week with a Sustainability bond offering from BANK AUSTRALIA that connected a debut issuer with a group of first-time buyers. The Victoria-based mutual bank, rated Baal/ BBB (Moody's/S&P), sold A$125m (US$92m) of three-year floating-rate notes last Monday after strong demand helped it beat both its size and price targets.
