Equity-linked bond deals hit 10-year high

Global equity-linked bond offerings hit US$61.7bn in the first six months of the year, up 28% from a year ago and the highest first-half for a decade, according to data from Thomson Reuters. The rise was led by technology companies, which issued about US$13.6bn of equity-linked deals, up 36% from a year earlier.
