Capital markets week ahead: AXA Equitable, Ping An, Flora Food

PLACING A PREMIUM AXA is expected to launch the IPO of its US life assurance and asset management arm AXA Equitable. At US$4bn, the listing could be the biggest in New York since the US$22bn IPO of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba in 2014, and will provide a further fillip to the city's equity capital markets desks after an already strong first quarter that saw US$16bn of listings.
