FACE THE MUSIC Spotify will mount something of a rebellion against the traditional IPO model when it goes public in New York on Tuesday. The music streaming service is effectively bypassing the banks, saving itself - and denying them - hundreds of millions of dollars in fees. More than 164m shares will go on general sale at the same time on Tuesday, with many predicting a frenzied first few hours of trading.
