Paratus foils Clifden raid but deals in play

Asset management company paratus will this week sell a new deal (called RMAC No.1) to refinance the legacy RMAC series of nonconforming residential mortgage securitisations at the centre of an attempted raid by real estate investor Clifden. The securitised mortgages were originated by GMAC-RFC before the financial crisis. CMAC-RFC was later bought by Fortress and renamed Paratus.
