TURKEY returned to the US dollar sukuk market for the first time in more than two years with a bigger than expected deal that takes pressure off its funding needs in conventional markets. Turkey faces big challenges even if its plight is not as serious as it was at times last year - when fears grew about a potential balance of payments crisis as the lira came under constant pressure.
