JP Morgan keeps fees top spot for 11th year

JP MORGAN topped the table for fees from debt and equity underwriting, M&A advisory and syndicated loans last year for the 1lth straight year. JP Morgan brought in US$9.2bn in fees last year from debt and equity capital markets, M&A advisory and syndicated loans, up 24% from 2019 and giving it a 7.2% share of fees, according to Refinitiv data. GOLDMAN SACHS ranked second with fees of US$8.3bn, up 37% from the year before and giving it a 6.5% market share. JP Morgan overtook BANK OF AMERICA to top global fee rankings in 2009, and has stayed there every year since.
