Indonesia ECM roars into life

Nutritional supplements maker SANCHIANC PERKASA is giving a much-needed lift to Indonesia's anaemic equity capital market, with pre-marketing under way for an IPO of up to US$500m, the country's largest in nearly six years. ECM activity nearly shut down entirely last year as Indonesia endured the highest caseload and Covid-19 deaths in South-East Asia, causing the region's largest economy to shrink 2.1%, the first full-year contraction in over two decades.
