Avocado supplier MISSION PRODUCE'S Nasdaq IPO plans have been bruised by comparisons to Calavo Growers. Falling prices also complicated Mission's path to public markets during the week. Bank of America, JP Morgan and Citigroup ended up late on Wednesday pricing a downsized 8m shares at US$12, well below the US$15-$17 marketing range (and down from 9.375m shares at launch) to value the company at US$800m.
